Date : Saturday, March 27, 2010 Time : 10:35 pm i really shouldnt be here but SO FAST SEM ENDING SOON. IT'S LIKE COMING BUT NOT YET ARGHZZ. stop procrastinating! things really aren't that awful once you get started on them. this line appeared in my head out of nowhere in the shower. brain, pls tell that to me more often. i have suffered from the consequences of procrastination for YEARS. it is really starting to get to me. :( life is full of dilemmas. i want but dread the end of sem at the same time. bcos no internship has knocked on my door and as the final week inches closer, i struggle to contain my anxiety that is threatening to burst forth anytime now. currently harbouring the deep, dark fear of having to while my time away this hols doing nth. perhaps i shld seriously consider offering piano-polishing services. seriously need to pull up my socks. my money and banking is panting hard trying to keep up and my public finance is calling out to me, beseeching my attention. it is even feeling ashamed for getting called by prof chia for talking to marina in class last week. marketing, on the other hand, is feeling extremely guilty for being such an underperformer and low-contributor at projects and berating me for not telling prof zhang the whole truth about the workload (which is, to put it simply, TOO MUCH). german, the pet of the lot, is the only satisfied party, nourished and happy. although of course it could also do with alot more effort. (seriously, being vocal in week 1 and asking prof chia to write my testimonial actually worked to my disadvantage bcos now i have a feeling she expects quite abit from me and frankly, i have not been doing many of my tutorials. :/ ) oh well. anyways, with the end of march approaching, ![]() happy birthday dearie. Alles gute zum Geburtstag (: having fun in the land of tulips? :) okay for the hols, other than all the usual fun stuff, i'm gonna do my interest some justice and catch up on all the movies and songs introduced by Frau Niemann, and read up as much as i can on europe, germany etc. i dont mean just travelguide-wise, but also like history, social, contemporary issues and stuff. i know it sounds weird, but i'm excited just thinking about it HAHAH. national library and the internet should be good places to start (: also, to continue with hitler's "Mein Kampf" (the eng translation of course). nope, no extremist ideas brewing. just thought it would be interesting (interesting in this context is such an..... inappropriate word) to read the writings of one of the most nefarious bastards of all mankind. and i should start - listening to german radio - reading deutsche welle regularly oral yesterday was, :/ i dunno what to make of it. sigh. cell yesterday was impactful. SALTING. :) sok is such an eloquent speaker too. and oh! recent shopping trips have made me very happy :D and NUSCO concert was yet another good occasion to meet up with the s17 ppl (:
